  1. Absolutely loved reading this piece as it's something I've found myself thinking about a lot recently! I really think you're on to something when you say that for some reason, we are more likely to respond to photos/content with that desirable designer item; I've noticed myself that my insta photos with designer pieces are some of my most liked, and I often wonder whether this subconsciously makes me want to buy more 'it' pieces, as opposed to me actually wanting them. I also have so many conflicting opinions on the whole luxe youtube debate. Luxe unboxings are some of my fave videos to watch, and I completely agree that if you have the money to buy something, you should do! But I also understand why people are starting to find this unrelateble, unrealistic and just generally boring. Seeing unboxing after unboxing of luxury items that, let's face it, a lot of people won't be able to afford in a year, let alone a few bags in a couple of months, can be alienating, and seeing the same pieces being toted around, almost like badges of honour, can be tiresome. But at the same time, I completely love high fashion, I love designer pieces and it's what I enjoy spending my money on, so I know if I could afford more, there's a chance I'd be doing the same. So I guess I really don't know! Your piece raises a lot of points that I think are very relevant in the blogging world right now. I really enjoyed it, plus, this outfit is amazing (and so is your content generally at the minute!)
