Tropical Vibes X ASOS WHITE

The weather in this country is as about as stable is Kim K losing her diamond earring in the ocean, so when the temperature reaches 20 degrees the entire population dresses as though they're about to step off the plane in Hawaii even though by the end of the day it'll be pouring with rain and we'll be Netflix bingeing with endless cups of tea whilst looking out the window saying 'It was bloody sunny this morning, what the hell happened?!'. So in light of the momentary heat wave I went on a man hunt for a summer wardrobe.

I love denim, it gets reworked on the runways each season, it's a part of fashion that will never go out of style. I've warmed to the idea of white denim this year, I've always been petrified of wearing it because of the dreaded moment you stand up and notice marks ERRRRYWHERE. I braved it when I stumbled on this ASOS White denim dress, it's a boxy fit and it's not flimsy denim so it really holds it shape, the best part, IT HAS POCKETS, seriously get so excited when skirts and dresses have pockets. The only downside was that it doesn't button all the way down so you couldn't really use it as a throw over.

..then came the boots from heaven...

These are great shoes for when you want to make a statement without having to make a huge effort with your outfit. I got complimented on these walking through the underground, and everyone knows speaking to people on the underground is just not a done thing so they were definitely appreciated, and have taken pride of place in my shoe-drobe.
